One year of voluntary work in the Swiss cultural world
Description of the organisation
Founded in 2001, the Centre des Métiers des Arts de la Scène et du Spectacle Ton sur Ton is a regional centre of competence (CRC) for artistic training. It’s main objective is promoting a leisurely, participatory, amateur culture within the reach of all. This institution has established and provides a complete and lively academic education to students (children and adults) from the BEJUNE region in the nationally recognised fields of jazz, contemporary music, theatre, contemporary dance and circus arts. Individual or group lessons are offered on a weekly basis in these different disciplines. Artistic projects such as performances, shows, animations and concerts are also regularly organised. In addition, since 2016, the Ton sur Ton Foundation has been actively working in the field of social and cultural mediation. The "Art without Borders" project was born with the objective of using live art as a tool for social integration and personal development for populations that do not usually have access to it (from migration, disability, etc.).For further details, visit https://www.tonsurton.ch/
